The Prostormer Submersible Water Sump Pump, for instance, uses a 1HP power motor, which is more efficient than the ordinary 3/4HP sump pump. It has a maximum 3700 Gallon Per Hour rating, allowing it to tackle any draining job at a fraction of the time. This submersible pump is ideal for draining water from flooded basements, water wells, garages, and garden ponds. It is also great for pool water changing work, thanks to its 16.5-feet heavy-duty power cord.

The pump features three different diameter outlets (1 inch, 1-1/4 inch, 1-1/2 inch) to adapt to different size hoses as needed, based on the flow rate. The bigger the flow, the wider the outlet should be.

The pump also has an automatic float switch. When the float switch is unlocked from the pump, if the pump fails to pump water, it will automatically disconnect the power. If the water level is higher than the pump, the pump will start again.

When the float switch is locked on the sump pump, the pump will keep working all the time. However, if the pump cannot pump any water, the power should be cut off immediately to prevent the coil from getting burned.

The pump has a higher base plate, which assures the prevention of debris collection in the sump pit. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including garden ponds, agricultural irrigation, swimming pools, and flooded houses.
